The Constitutional Read: Your Free Dosha Test

A free dosha test in 18 questions.

Ayurveda reads the body as one system. This assessment estimates two things: your prakriti — your constitution, the blueprint you were born with — and your vikriti — where you've drifted out of balance right now. The gap between them is where most health issues begin.

A note before you start:

this is a structured introduction, not a clinical diagnosis. A full read needs direct observation — tongue, nails, pulse, history, conversation. Treat your result as a working hypothesis, not a verdict.

How to answer:

for the first 12 questions, answer for the long arc of your life — the patterns your body has shown since adolescence. For the last 6, answer only for the last 3–6 months.

FAQ

Dosha test questions

What is a dosha test?

A dosha test is a structured questionnaire that estimates your Ayurvedic constitution — the balance of three forces, vata, pitta, and kapha — and where it has drifted out of balance right now.

What's the difference between prakriti and vikriti?

Prakriti is your blueprint, the constitution you were born with. Vikriti is your current state — where stress, season, and diet have pushed you off that baseline. The gap between them is where the work begins.

Is a free dosha test accurate?

It's a strong working hypothesis, not a diagnosis. A clinical read uses tongue and nail observation, pulse, history, and conversation. Use the result to understand your pattern, then confirm it in a proper assessment.

How often should I take it?

Your prakriti never changes. Your vikriti shifts — retake the vikriti section every 4–6 weeks or after a big change in stress, season, or routine.
